Last week I received an unexpected and delightful gift from someone I don’t know but who learned about my love of quilting through one of my co-workers.
It was a book about an exhibit called Piecing it all Together: Quilts of the Eastern Shore, presenting a sampling of Delmarva quilts and their stories at the Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture. The Center is a repository of artifact collections relating to Delmarva and is located at Salisbury University in Maryland. The quilts are amazing!
I had no idea that such a collection existed in my state and was within driving distance from my home. Sounds like a future road trip is a must!
Hope your week is sew happy!
