If you love to quilt, you are bound to have lots of scraps! I’ve been sorting and organizing mine. I’m currently working on three small scrap projects and trying to finish a long-term Flying Geese quilt – I will add more info about it my next post.

When I found a small stack of 1.5″ squares, already sewn into 4-patches, I knew they would make a perfect border for my small goat embroidery! So this is my mini-quilt number one.
I also found this perfect hot pink fabric for the borders, and some leftover dark blue binding. I will hand-quilt this 16″ mini quilt and hang it in my studio.

More random blocks! These were intended for a much larger quilt, but I decided these enough for a wall-hanging in my new home! I’m planning to add a small embroidery – “Home” – on the top, and also hand quilt it. Looking for hand quilting videos and thread.

This is my second Scrap Vortex quilt – loved making the first one and it sold on my Etsy shop! Love how scrappy this one is looks. It has a 1″ black inner border and a scrappy 2″ tumbler border. Look for it in my Etsy shop – linked below.
