Brick Houses

I really loved this pattern by Fat Quarter Shop and started making houses with the leftovers from the quilts that I finished in 2022. The pattern is free, with the link below.

Finished top with 9 houses – waiting for the border. Even though I made more that 9 quilts last year, not all of them had enough variety of scraps to make a block.

My finished top measures 50″ x 53″ with 3″ borders. On my recent trip to Capital Quilts I picked a few lovelies – one of them will be perfect for the binding.

Borders are on! I decided to go scrappy with the fund pink knitting cats on blue background and my favorite sheep in the corners!

Backing is also ready – three leftover 15″ blocks in the middle with blue remnants of 108″ wide fabrics. I love using what I have on hand!
