I’ve been working on two boy quilts for my cousin’s sons since last fall. I took her shopping for fabric in the spring and then designed two similar quilts for the boys. Both are about 64″ x 80″ and feature all the fabrics my cousin picked out at several shops. She loved every shop and was *sew* excited to choose prints that would be meaningful for both of her sons. It was even more fun for me since I didn’t have to pay and got more fabric to play with! Win-win!

Some of the fabrics we picked up for both quilts, plus a very light blue batik for sashing
Turns out that I underestimated how much fabric we would need and have since purchase a few more F4s, plus two flannel backings, 5 yards each.
Mason’s Squares has been quilted and waiting for a label and binding. It has sports flannel and wool batting. The same binding will go on both quilts

My favorite pattern for Jacob!
It is in queue to be quilted next. Space flannel baking and wool batting. Binding with a nice stripe is ready and waiting.
