Super fast & easy baby girl quilt!
All you need are 64 HST’s, some fabric for borders, sashing, & binding to make the top. Below are the supplies I used, but this top can be made with 5″ squares or even leftover 10″ squares to make HST’s.
I used 4 strips of pink and 4 strips of light green – each 4.5″ x 21″, and 4 strips of background 4.5″ x WOF. I chose different backgrounds to coordinate with pinks and greens. All fabric came from leftover projects, the pinks & green are remaining strips from my 2Hearts QAL. Using Bonnie Hunter’s triangular ruler I cut out 8 HSTs from each strip set of color and background – that took about 30 mins. Then I chain-pieced them all at once, about 40 mins. Since there was no additional trimming, ironing and layout took about 40 mins. Next is to put 4 blocks together. I already chose the sashing – have some leftover pink & white hearts that I cut up into 12 strips of 2″ x 16.5″. I’ve searched thru the rest of my scraps for 9 x 2″ squares to use as cornerstones. Looking at more scraps, I found 4 strips for binding – 2.5″ x WOF.

Finished top – lovely!

To round up the backing – a soft pink flannel with sheep!
