Welcome to a new year of quilting and sharing with friends!
Our meetings will take place at my home mostly on the third Saturday of each month, 1pm-3pm. Exceptions are noted in bold below. I will be at QuiltCon in Raleigh Feb 19-22 and have one trip scheduled for the end of March. As in prior years, there will be a small club fee – $60 for the entire year, or $10 drop-in per session.

We will continue making blocks/quilt from Victoria Findlay Wolfe book The Quilting Experience. I believe everyone already has a copy of the book and I’m looking forward to seeing all of your progress!
I have two suggestions for projects if you are done with the quilt or completed all the blocks that you wanted.
The first one will be a “stretch” goal for most of us (definitely for me!) – Dresden Quilt Blocks Reimagined by Candice Copp Grisham. I saw a quilt made from some of the blocks and purchased my copy at Capital Quilts. Please support your local quilt shop if possible!
The second option is to make True Blue quilt (or any other color variation) from American Patchwork & Quilting issue 198.
I am planning to do a demo on making mitered corders and looking forward to seeing you all at our next meeting!
