Welcome 2026! My heart is full of gratitude for my friends and I’m looking to many new creative experiences this year. I will be going back to London, and of course, will visit Liberty! I hope to finish two long-term projects – EPP Grandma’s Garden (so close!) and Sheep Virtues cross stitch.
Check out the WIP section of Posts for details on my current projects and see my completed project in the Quilts Made section.
In 2025, I continued quilting my completed tops and of course, making new ones. I made 13 quilt tops to donate to a children’s charity, modified 3 more and finished 9 others (one of which was with fabrics I brought from New Zealand in 2018). A huge thanks for my generous friend Elizabeth, who quilted some of them for me! I finished the year with a plan for 4 more donation quilts and two EPP WIPs.
In 2024, I was working on quilting my tops and making some large new quilts. I’ve made 11 quilts, and 7 of them are now added to my “to be quilted” list… I really don’t mind, as I get to complete them as inspiration strikes.
In 2023 I’ve worked on completing my long list of WIPs and limiting the number of new projects. It’s challenging, but I love my finished quilts! Just 3 quilt tops were uncompleted at the end of last year! Yay! progress was also made in quilting the completed tops, but there are still many that need to be quilted. My backlog to quilt finished tops is now less than 30.
Travel plans are also in the works for the coming year, but as I travel locally (with my sewing machine, of course!) more WIPs are coming, so stay tuned!
